With Loomr Sprints we bring together experienced and professional data experts from service providers, companies, associations and NGOs in a two-weeks sprint to develop customized solutions that are professionally tailored to the current challenges of the industry.

Your solution in six steps

Within two weeks, participants have to develop functional prototypes and describe a business model (here already the first difference to classic 48h hackathons) for challenges that were previously defined by the relevant industry.

In average we receive 300 to 400 applications, but we only run this sprints with 60-100 people. One must-have is that the finales of loomr.io should taking place during an industry relevant conference. We call it "Bring the nerds out of the basement into the limelight", in order to create a haptic experience for all decision makers in an industry to this fair, what digitization and data science looks like in real life.

The IAA Mobilitython as a results-driven contest for Open Innovation and Open Data in mobility

Together with the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (www.bmvi.de), the German energy agency dena.de, IAA Mobility (www.iaa.de) and The Impact Farm (www.theimpact.farm) as SME Company Builder focusing on Data Science, Free-Now.com and Fahrrad.de posed the following questions to participants during IAA 2021:

How can inclusive route planning also look like for people in rural areas with mobility restrictions, e.g. by considering #wheelchair transport or barrier-free mobility to senior residences in rural areas? What can new business models with bike sensors look like, e.g. smart health insurance or fall detection for handbike riders?

Together with Deutsche Energieagentur DENA and its Future Energy Lab a 14 days prototype sprint in Energy is taking place in Berlin

Effective and digital challenges in the areas of gas/heat, electricity, alternative fuels, municipal utilities and critical infrastructure will be solved by teams within four weeks of coding and business case analysis.

Highly qualified and professional teams and individuals must apply two months in advance.
